A week after the floods a family fishes from the eroded banks of the Brisbane River. A bridge spanning over 100meters was obliterated only meters from where the family relaxes. The watermark is evident on the fence line above.

I thought I'd do a 'Photo a day' to inspire me on the job to give life to shots that would normally get buried in an archive. Turns out this will be more of a 'Photo whenever I get the urge' type of project - a little more reflective of my personality. There will be waves of creativity followed by photographic drought. Maybe I'll be able to plot the ebb and flow with cycles of the moon, rotation of the earth or length of the grass in my backyard. Who knows?
